The
“Sirenetta hotel”, three stars,
is a modern hotel group of “mediterranean” style, which
is situated in the centre of the “Bay of Carini”, not
far away from a characteristic sea-village. The “Di
Lorenzo” family runs it directely. They have been
working in the tourist-hotel field for more than forty years. The
structure is provided with 29 air-conditioned rooms,
private bathrooms, shower, telephone, tv, mini-bar and view over
the sea.
Everything is carried out in the utmost respect of EEC’s set
of rules. The “Sirenetta” hotel, 20 metres away from
the sea and the foreshore, has at its disposal a spacious restaurant
offering many Sicilian foods and international
cooking specialities. The surroundings are characterized by the
Solarium, the living-room and a large swimming-pool
with an open-air bar. Everything is enriched by an enormous green
park.
Private beach. You can practise different nautical
sports at the beach with the help of federal teachers:
windsurfing, swimming, sailing, underwater fishing.
The cultural aspect is not neglected: the excursion
service will take you to the most famous Sicilian places.
Car service from/to the stations of arrival/departure. Under cover
private garage. The hotel is situated in “Isola

-
“Isola delle femmine” (Palermo) is 15 km. far from
Palermo and 8 km. from “Falcone-Borsellino”
airport . You can reach it coming from the A29 “Palermo
- Mazara del Vallo” motorway, exit at Capaci – Isola
delle femmine, or from the road 113 Palermo – Trapani: promenade
Isola – Capaci.
“Isola delle femmine” , from the
Arab language “fimis” (opening), is a pleasant sea-town
which is situated on the Tirrenic west coast, facing the homonymous
rock that makes the landscape”unique”.
Here, Joe Di Maggio’s parents were born. “Isola delle
femmine” is a popular tourist town thanks to an enviable
shore with long expanses of soft sand and some
modern equipments. Its strategic geographical position allows,
in fact, to the comers to be near the most significant masterpiece
of the arab-norman art and near the temples of
Greek art.
It takes 1 hour to reach Erice, Selinunte, Segesta, la
Valle dei Templi in Agrigento and a few minutes to reach
Palermo and Monreale. Nature,
art, culture, tradition and sport represent an “inseparable
formula” from the development of the insular territory.
The waters surrounding the naturalistic oasis of the rock, nowadays
natural reserve, offer beautiful dephts with
large prairies of posidonia, beautiful parietes of red gorgonia,
madrepore and other living creatures, producing a charming sea-
environment of considerable beauty.
